Angler's ESB

A classic English Extra Special Bitter. Our dark amber ESB uses British Crystal malt and a traditional hop profile for medium bitterness and a taste so authentic, you might imagine yourself drinking one brookside in Merry Old England.

1500's Belgian Black Lager

A popular style 500 years ago, this Belgian Black Lager is making a comeback. A lighter body and slight pepper flavor from the addition of Paradise seeds will keep you coming back for more. 

Seven Falls Amber Ambrosia

A Delightful brew to be enjoyed everyday. A full rich mouth feel is enhanced by the complexities of four unique flavoring grains. Lightly hopped 

Sweet Honey Brown Ale

My Lazy Dog Red

Even my beloved old hound would get up for this one. Beautiful color and medium bitterness. Roasted malts and a lacy head add wonderful flavor and texture. 

Flat Tyre Amber Ale

Our own take on this famous (Colorado) amber ale. Nutty flavor with three grains and three hops. Great body and a beautiful white head. A good choice for everyday enjoyment. 

General Palmer's IPA

Crack open the General's favorite and enjoy the generous warmth from six pounds of malt and a cool blast of hop flavor and bitterness. Toasty, roasty and satisfying, kinda like your first car. 

Katie’s Oatmeal Stout

Katie’s old family recipe! This Stout is black, creamy smooth and somewhat sweet with a lacy head and excellent mouth feel. Medium bitterness and a long finish. Flaked Oats provides the milky smoothness. 

Black Onyx Porter

Like the gem this brew is named after this English Porter is inky black and malty.  Medium bitterness, and a creamy white head will have you reaching for another. 

Mighty Scottish Ale

A classic tasting yet affordable Scotch ale, lightly hopped with a malty, slightly sweet flavor. A dark amber color and excellent mouth feel. 

  Tips & Techniques from Old West

While the above kits will come out great just as they come you can improve the flavor by using a liquid yeast, rather than the supplied dry yeast. If you choose to use the liquid, do not also use the dry pack that comes with the kit.  Simply save the dry yeast for an "emergency" or discard it. Click here to visit our yeast page.
